Spectinomycin + Lincomycin
Each 150 gm contains:
- Spectinomycin sulfate 75 gm (equivalent to 66.7 gm Spectinomycin base)
- Lincomycin hydrochloride 37.8 gm (equivalent to 33.3 gm Lincomycin base)
- Pio Lincospect contain two antibacterial and antimycoplasmal antibiotics work synergistically gives the product abroad spectrum against wide rang of gram +ve, gram -ve bacteria (aerobe and anaerobe) and Mycoplasma.
- Pio Lincospect has Lincomycin which is Lincosamid bacteriostatic antibiotic closely related to cephalosporines effective only on gram +ve bacteria, and Mycoplasma by interfering with DNA synthesis in bacterial cell.
- Lincomycin rapidly absorbed and reach MIC with Two hours and more effective in Necrotic enteritis, osteoarthritis and CRD.
- Pio Lincospect has spectinomycin which is Aminoglycoside bacteriostatic antibiotic against gram -ve bacteria and Mycoplasma.
