Lincomycin 50%

Each 1 gm contains:

  • Lincomycin hydrochloride monohydrate 567 mg (equivalent to 500 mg Lincomycin base)

  • Pio lincnen 50% is abacteristatic Lincosamide antibiotic closely related to cephalosporiens.
  • Pio lincnen 50% acting by interfering with DNA synthesis in bacterial cell.
  • Pio lincnen 50% is effective only on gram + ve bacteria (aerobe and anaerobe) and Mycoplasma.
  • Pio lincnen 50% is absorbed orally. and entering all body tissues but not cross blood brain barrier.
  • Pio lincnen 50% is more safe. has No side effect and bacterial resistance.
  • Pio lincnen 50% used for prevention and treatment of osteomyelitis, CRD and clostridia.
  • Pio lincnen 50% not used with erythromycin and Tylosine.

  • Treatment of necrotic enteritis in chicken.
  • Treatment of chronic respiratory disease in chicken, and turkey caused by (Mycoplasma staphylococcus, streptococcus and Corynebacterium).
  • Treatment of arthritis and bumble foot in Coccus caused by staphylococcus.
  • Treatment of pneumonia and osteomyelitis in sheep and Small cattle.

  • Don’t, use Pio lincnen 50% with erythromycin and Tylosine.
  • Don’t use Pio lincnen 50% in horses, rabbits, hamster.

  • Chickens , Turkey ,Sheep and Small cattle.

  • Treatment of Necrotic enteritis
  • 10 mg/Kg B.W For 3-5 days
  • (or 1 gm/ 4 liter D.W)
  • Treatment of Mycoplasma
  • 20 mg/Kg B.W for 3-5 days
  • (or 1 gm / 2 Liter D.W for 3-5 days)
